Cozy winter
Here comes the coziness!
Autumn is slowly starting to show its face, and that also means that winter is not long away, but there is one thing the two seasons have in common: You just have to enjoy yourself! There should be indoor coziness with hot cocoa (maybe even with a little whipped cream), some good company and of course a slightly more comfortable and cozy wardrobe. Right now, the fashion approach is that your clothes should be sustainable, fashionable, but also comfortable to wear, and that's why we would like to give you some ideas on how you can comfortably get through the winter dressed comfortably.
Knit sweaters
We've said it time and time again, but we'll say it again: knitwear is simply the best thing you can wear when it comes to the cooler seasons like winter! It's comfortable, cozy, and excellent at keeping you warm.
As you can read more about in our blog post about The Striped Knit , the striped knit sweater is a fashion item that never fails, and it is of course also in fashion this time. With a striped knit, you will be kept warm, comfortable, fashionable and modern - all at once. However, there are more trends than stripes that you can pay attention to - first and foremost, we are in a period where the colors should be full blast, and this also applies to knitwear, so you can choose a knit in a more experimental color. In general, there is a lot of creativity in knitwear at the moment, which is expressed through different patterns, yarn types and experimental details, so if you have had a desire to go crazy with your knitwear, now is the time to do it - whether it is a knitted sweater, knitted dress, knitted vest or cardigan, you can choose as wild a knitted item to enjoy yourself in as you wish.
Attention to materials
To keep us in the same vein, materials are generally something worth paying attention to when creating a cozy, comfortable wardrobe. Typically, choosing soft materials will help tremendously to create coziness in the outfit. In the fashion scene, there have been slightly different suggestions for how this can be achieved, but the most obvious suggestions are of course yarn, but also plush materials such as rulam or other soft materials such as velour. These materials can be used in relation to ordinary, soft clothing, but also think about it in relation to jackets , where you can, for example, choose a jacket in rulam, or in accessories , for example with a velour bag or shoes.
More is more
It is usually popular to say that less is more, but in winter there are certain areas where more really is more, and that is in relation to the oversized. In general, it creates a bit of coziness in outfitted when there are oversizes - an oversized sweater can be a little more cozy to wear than a tight-fitting one, and that is what we need to practice! There are also trends that carry the pressure of oversizing this winter, for example, it is seen that large scarves (rather than scarves of a more regular size) are not only cozy and nice, but also trendy! We also see it in connection with trousers, where jeans as well as slacks should have a certain width, which of course also contributes to better comfort.
Width of the pants
It was teased a bit above, but we're lucky that a comfortable trend is in this season. We see that trousers need to have a wide leg, which means that beautiful suit trousers , flared jeans and slacks are a big hit at the moment, because the look can be a bit "deliberately sloppy, but not sloppy".
We all remember how, 10-20 years ago, we had to crawl into the tightest jeans that fit like a glove, and that was certainly something, but they weren't comfortable - this trend is just something completely different in terms of it being a little comfortable to pull on the pants. Because as soon as the pants don't fit completely tight, they're just a tad more comfortable to wear.
Not trendy, but super cool!
If we are going to talk about coziness and comfort in winter, there is a piece of clothing that may not look particularly fashionable, but must be mentioned anyway, because it is the ultimate in cozy clothing; we are talking of course about the wonderful sweatpants that we all own - whether we want to stand by it or not. Jogging pants, as they are also called, are ironically created for sports use, and you can also use them for a run, but most of us probably know them as our wonderful cozy pants, which due to their typical cotton composition retain heat very well and are therefore brilliant for winter.
Hoodies and sweats
Our sweatpants have good friends in terms of super cozy clothing, and a comfortable bottom must have a good partner in the form of a comfortable top. Here you almost have to scream "hoodies" and "sweatshirts" altogether, because a quite comfortable (maybe even oversized) hoodie is worth its weight in gold during the cool cozy months, and with its furry reverse side, the sweatshirt is on the list. Hoodies naturally come in many varieties and so do sweatshirts, and therefore they can still be quite fashionable to look at, all the while contributing to your comfort and warmth.
The sweatshirt in particular has become more recognized within the fashion world after the Corona pandemic hit, and people turned more towards cozy clothes, and the sweatshirt is certainly cozy, which is partly due to the freedom of movement and loose fit. Well, what more do you need in the cold winter months?
You can read more about sweatshirts in our blog post about Comfortable Sweatshirts .
Comfort from the inside out
Until now, the focus has been on how you could wear comfortable tops and bottoms for indoor comfort, but you also need to feel cozy in your outdoor clothing. Therefore, you should also consider which jacket or coat can make the winter season as cozy as possible. Popular at the moment are jackets and coats made of sheepskin, which can also be said to be quite comfortable to interact with, but the wonderfully warm and super comfortable duvet jackets are also trending, and the thickness they often contribute also gives a cozy feeling. In general, large, warm coats will be good choices to create a pleasant feeling of coziness.
