Fashion trends that never go out of style
Fashion's evergreens
We will look at what can be described as evergreens in the fashion world, because we will take a look at the garments that never go out of style. We will take hold of and celebrate the fashion trends that have stood the test of time, have stood the test of time and are still in.
Suit
Women's suits, which consist of a blazer and trousers, have been in fashion since the 1970s, and before that, skirt suits began to appear instead of trousers. This trend has not only maintained its popularity; it has actually exploded, and women's suits are bigger than ever, so there's no sign that the suit is going away (thank goodness).
Miniskirt
This trend may have been here longer than you, so you better show it some respect, because the mini skirt (dear child has many names) has been trending since the 1960s, when it became a symbol of female liberation. We can quickly agree that that is a long time in such a changeable (fashion) world, and when the trend is still thriving and has even been voted the most iconic fashion trend of all time in a study, everything indicates that it should not be written off just yet.
Blue jeans
According to experts, blue jeans are the biggest and most timeless fashion trend of all time. The need for blue jeans was originally created by gold miners who needed robust, durable clothing that could withstand the elements, but the fact that they look manly at the same time is probably why the trend is still alive and well. Of course, it is also a trend that expresses itself in many ways: they can be skinny, they can be wide, they can be high-waisted, they can be low-waisted - it varies specifically which type is trending, but blue jeans will always be in.
Basic t-shirt
It's simple, you can find a version for everyone, and it can be matched with almost everything - we're talking about the basic t-shirt, of course. One of the reasons why the basic t-shirt trend is thriving as well as it is and has been for a long time is of course accessibility - both in terms of financial conditions and ease of dusting. They're easy to find, and they're often worth it. In addition, they can be matched with anything, depending on the color choice. It's one of the things that most people have in their wardrobe, and it will probably be found in many wardrobes in the future.
Crop top
We have to go back to the 1980s to see the birth of this legend. The crop top has been around since the 1980s, but had a huge rebirth during the 1990s, and has pretty much never left the fashion scene since. It has been the subject of some iconic looks, especially Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera's unforgettable 00s looks with low-rise jeans and crop tops . They were great then, they were great before, and they are great now - crop tops are not going anywhere.
The little black one
People often think that Coco Chanel was the creator of the little black dress , but to be fair, little black dresses existed before Coco Chanel's reign in the fashion world, but let's be honest... The huge breakthrough for the little black dress comes from Coco Chanel's Vogue appearance in 1926, and here, almost 100 years later, it is still alive and well. It has had periods when it has thrived more magnificently than others, but it has still been a constant in the fashion scene - and I wonder if it will last another 100 years? The little black dress has one advantage, as Karl Lagerfeld also pointed out: You are never over- or underdressed in the little black dress.
Slip skirts
Slip skirts can be roughly translated into Danish as "underskirts", and the original idea is that these skirts, which are typically made of satin and silk-like materials, are worn under a skirt or a dress . This prevents the dress from sticking to your legs, and you can protect the outside from potentially less comfortable materials. In the 1960s, they were also used as a form of underwear, but during the 1990s a new trend began to take shape, and the slip skirt was used as the actual skirt. It must also be said to be quite elegant to look at, while it can be dressed up or down quite easily based on the top you choose to combine it with. From the 1960s to the 1990s as an underskirt, from the 1990s to now as a skirt - slip skirts have had a solid ride, and it probably won't end anytime soon.
