How to dress properly for confirmation
Confirmation is one of the biggest events of the year and of life. It celebrates the transition from child to adult. It is a time filled with preparations, invitations to send out, and most importantly: finding the perfect outfit for the big day.
In this post you will find good advice and inspiration for what you can wear for the big day, both as a confirmation candidate and a confirmation guest .
Dress code
There are a lot of options for outfits for the confirmation itself. Times and traditions have changed. In the last few years there has been a tendency to replace the traditional white dress with a different dress or even a suit . Of course, you have to follow your own style, you can always "dress up". In addition, it is important that you feel comfortable in your outfit, after all, you have to wear it for a whole day.
Makeup & Hair
Here again there is free play. Our go-to at the office is either curls or sleek in all forms. You can put your hair up in a nice ponytail with curls at the bottom or up in a nice bun. Plus a natural and light makeup. We recommend that you practice a few days in advance, so that it all works on the big day.
Accessories
With accessories in the form of jewelry you can spice up any outfit. Whether it should be gold or silver is entirely up to you. Earrings, necklaces and bracelets are a must have for the day. Our recommendation is to keep it simple and have a clear line.

Blue Monday
In addition to the big day, you should also remember Blue Monday. It is the final day of the entire confirmation period. Here you can have fun with the whole class and share your big day. Often, there is a tendency for the class to get together and drive into the city and shop all day. Therefore, your outfit should also be in order. Here you don't necessarily have to look as good as on the confirmation day itself. Here it is more about being comfortable and having fun all day.

As a Guest
As a general rule, your attire should be neat and decent. Of course, your outfit should not overshadow that of the confirmation party. We recommend medium-length dresses or a set consisting of a nice top, pants and possibly a cool blazer. Here you can also move a little out of your comfort zone and experiment a little with colors and patterns. In addition, you can always style your outfit with jewelry or a nice bag.

Good tips for the day
Photos: Remember to take a lot of photos from morning to night. It's nice and fun to be able to look back on with your loved ones. You can also rent a photo booth and take fun photos with your guests. It could also be a good idea to have a guest book. Then guests can write funny greetings and messages that you can always look back on.
Entertainment: Create a fun feature during the day, such as a song or competition between guests. Otherwise, we'll definitely think that one of your family members has created a fun feature for the party!
We hope this post has given you a lot of inspiration and guided you on your way to having a fantastic day in the company of your loved ones.
We wish you a wonderful day and a lot of fun with everything.
With love,
